There doesn't seem to be anything seriously wrong with me. It seems one of my nasal passages is slightly obstructed by an enlarged bulla, but nothing impressive. Interestingly, I make thicker mucus on my left side than my right. I had never stopped to contemplate any deviation from complete mucus homogeneity, but now that is something else I know about myself. So my options are to keep taking the nasal inhaler the doctor gave me for awhile and see if it helps or consult an ENT about tuning my allergy medications more. I think I'll wait a little bit and see if I get better. If things are still the same after the holidays, I will call the ENT. Thankfully, I have awesome grown up insurance.
Check out the results (click to enlarge). I especially love the highlighted part.

You have a bulla. And it is enlarged. I wouldn't exactly call that unremarkable
You'll need a professional witness to interpret this if it ever goes to court.
An "unremarkable brain" huh? Could have fooled me!
"Enlarged bulla" has been the inspiration of many a blogger. With some, that's all they've got...

Apparently I didn't impress the CT interpretor very much. I can imagine him thinking "I've seen bigger..." He obviously felt that way about my brain too!

Being the geek that I am, I already Wikipedia-ed most of the terminology. Basically, air is getting where it needs to be, whether mucus is getting where it needs to be is still questionable. And I'm a big bulla.

Thanks! I'm out to prove that size doesn't matter!

Are you trying to say that writing about sinus CT scans is scraping the bottomw of the blogging barrel? If so, I believe you may be right...
Not necessarily - I would never accuse you of scraping the bottom of the blogging barrel. My reference was to certain bloggers who are full of bulla...
Gosh, I'm with Scott. I'm lost except for highlighted portion, which I found quite entertaining.
Jeez, at least when I got stuff checked out I had "abnormal cells" and "Herthels"...not sure what it all meant, but I went under the ol' knife and ended up on morphine! Woo-hoo for drugs and the remarkability that gets them for you!!
At least this confirms it: you have a brain! But we already knew that. ;-)
She has a brain? I thought she was all just beauty...
The highlighted part is a classic though.
