Wow....a summer reading list for the week+ that MB is out of town. I'll do my best. ;) (I might have time to buy one of them....hehehe) I guess I have nothing to do at lunch on Fridays

I just started Life of Pi on audio. Perhaps you have already read this, and I am only a half hour into it, but I'm convinced you will find much humor in it. He talks about the scientific crowd, and what constantly occupies their minds. The author is wonderful.

"CUBS vs. TWINS!!!"

I think they should test Santana to see if he's human, because if he's not, he should be banned from baseball.

This is all an evil plot to get you to read more.

Life of Pi is on my [overwhelingly large] book list and has made the cut to my [still emabrassingly large] "must read soon!" list. Maybe I'll bump it up to "right after the next book group book" so that I can let you know what I think of it.

Santana is not human. He is a god and Francisco Liriano has srpung Athena-like from his left shoulder. I saw him live Friday and and I'm gong back to see him again Wednesday afternoon with my future in-laws!

Ok...one more to the list. Life of Pi. :) Actually it is on my list too. I think I read so slowly because I always have 3 books going at once. One on History of some sort, one fiction, and one on some topic that will better somthing else....(e.g., running, home repair, etc) Than and it would be better if I read as fast as you do. :)

BTW...did you finish Night?
